Hello, my name is Kalyn Jarrett and I currently attend Calumet College of St. Joesph. I began caring for animals ever since I was a child and my love for animals continued to grow. Once I was old enough to get a job I applied at my local animal hospital and was chosen out of numerous experienced candidates. I began working at Maple CIty Animal Hospital (LaPorte,IN) in 2013 and continued to work there until the summer of 2017 due to moving for college. At Maple City Animal Hospital I cleaned, fed, and walked the animals visiting and/ or staying at the hospital. I also assisted the doctors in the exam rooms, during surgery, and with x-rays. On top of assisting the doctors, I filled prescriptions, helped out in the lab area, and reception area. I have also dog/cat sat for several families when needed.
