Hello, my name is Kailee and animals are my passion! I am currently in school, working towards a degree in the animal field. I also have a 4 year old daughter and am a part-time stay at home mom! This means I have extra time to do what I love...provide excellent and quality animal care! I have experience working and volunteering on alpaca farms where I helped raise chickens, ducks, alpacas and sheep. I also have fostered dogs with my family for years, am currently working with a local group fostering mama cats and their kittens, and have also worked in a dog daycare and animal hospital. I own an African Grey parrot, a bearded dragon, a senior cat, and a border collie puppy! This means I have a wide-range of experience that makes me the best candidate to care for your beloved pet! I am passionate about providing my pets with the best possible life. For my parrot, that means preparing nutritious fresh foods and providing enrichment activities such as music, foraging toys, and plenty of interaction. Also I make sure to incorporate at least a couple hours outside a day weather its inside a cage, in a harness or in a bird-safe aviary. For my bearded dragon, it also means providing fresh veggies along with an abundance of yummy dubia roaches and crickets. Also, proper UVB lighting, heat and tank size. My beardie also loves basking outside safely with a screen above his plastic enclosure with temperatures closely monitored. My cat gets the highest quality raw diet, plenty of cat trees, scratch posts, playtime with his favorite toys, and also goes outside on a harness to explore! Lastly, my border collie puppy is probably the most high-energy dog on the face of the planet! I am confident that if I can keep her happy and entertained, I can keep your pooch just as happy! We go to the river several times a week where she romps in the water, chases sticks and jumps after bubbles! We also go on daily hour-long hikes or walks at different trails and destinations in the area! She also gets high quality dog food, positive training techniques and plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation! The thing about me is I pay attention to detail and I know HOW IMPORTANT it is to make sure each step in the care instructions is done accurately and according to what the pet parents want and the animals are used to! That means if you cut the carrots wrong for the parrot, it DOES matter and affect their day because they won't eat it and will miss out on those yummy nutrients for the day! :) I am really looking forward to meeting your pets and loving them just as much as you do!
