My family always had large dogs when I was growing up that I helped care for from a very young age, and I am currently the proud owner of two beautiful pitbulls (aged 2 and 4), as well as a community of fish and turtles. You won't find a more dedicated animal lover! I am also great with animals who require extra special care. I was once the owner of an English Pointer dog who had a stroke at age 15, and he lived to be 16 1\2 against all odds! In the first few months following the stroke, he required extensive care in his disabled state that included administering medications, hand feeding him water and baby food using a syringe, urine and feces clean up, teaching him how to walk again, and carrying him up and down the stairs for bathroom breaks several times per day (he was never able to navigate stairs again after the stroke). I have infinite love and patience for all animals, and will care for your pets as if they were my own! I am also the proud owner of seven aquatic turtles, one 47 year old eastern box turtle, six cichlid fish, and two betta fish (I have had turtles and fish for 30 years), so my skills are not limited to dogs! I also have plenty of experience with cats! I was the owner of three beautiful cats when I was younger, and have also lived with cats for years (owned by roommates) since then. I am a part time college student in my late 30's (currently off for the summer). I also have a pet friendly SUV with plenty of room, and an immaculate driving record, should you need me to transport your pet anywhere. I will send you a detailed report of each visit with photos!
