Pet Sitter in Delta, British Columbia

I'm an
Individual
To be honest, I'm looking to bring in some extra income to supplement my disability income. I'm not looking to hang with a large group of dogs for an hour and take them quickly back home to get the next group. Not my style, and it's not what you fur kid needs. I don't like to be rushed or have time limits set upon me. If I meet a new friend, I don't want someone saying, time to go. Animals have similar needs and feelings as their human family...they want company, they want to socialize, they want to get out and see the world, they want to feel included. I could get a nine to five job a few days a week, but what could be better than hanging out with your cat and playing the games she or he likes to play? Summer is upon us, so why would I want to work inside where grouchy people are going to yell at m,e because the store doesn't have a particular item they're looking for? Nope, I'd rather take your dog to an off leash park or to the dog beach...catch some sun, and hang with a furry friend who just wants to play and give lots of kisses. So yes you can hire someone to take your dog for a walk, or you can hire me and my girl Maya (my 3 yr old dachshund) to hang with your fur kid. We'll include them in our day and get out to parks and beaches for more than a rushed hour. We'll hang with your cat, play the games they like, or just sit with them so that they feel someone is around...if your cat likes to cuddle, there's plenty of time...if your cat wants to just give us the stink eye and pretend we're not needed, I can be patient and wait till they finally do me the honour of saying hello...and maybe they never will. Maya is great with other animals, and really helps to break the ice with other fur kids, but if your fur kid is really uncomfortable with dogs, Maya can stay home until they're ready to meet. Thank you for stopping by, and we hope to hear from you! Brenda and Maya
