Hello! I’m Lorrie and I’m thankful you are interested in learning more about me. I started pet sitting for neighbors at a young age and began volunteering at our local vet clinic when I was ten years old. I was then hired at age 14 as a veterinary assistant and employed there until I graduated from OSU. After graduation, I worked part time at a doggie daycare as a dog supervisor/caretaker until becoming employed as a sea turtle technician in Georgia. I currently volunteer at a local wildlife center. I have fostered many dogs/cats for local rescues and currently own 2 rescue kitties/1 rescue dog. Through the years, friends and family continue to entrust me with their beloved animals when they are away. As a pet owner of special medical needs pets, exotics and being a recently retired military family, I know how difficult it can be to find a reliable pet sitter. I do not work outside of the home so my schedule is flexible and can be available short notice if necessary. However, I do have children of my own, so I am unable to stay in your home while you’re away.
