I grew up in a family of 7, so watching over one another was a given. I have always found a passion for watching kids grow and watching their minds develop over time. I have babysat anywhere from new born babies to 12 years old. I worked with an autistic boy (4 Y/O) for about 2 years in the Son-Rise program and babysat him and his 2 younger siblings. I volunteer weekly at my church with the kindergarten class and help watch the children while teaching them about God. At the same church every summer for the last 3 years I have taught a science class for one week during the summer. I attend college during the week as I am working to get my degree in Pediatric Nursing. My last full time job was at a daycare, I worked 40 hours a week in a large home Day Care with 24 children with ages ranging from 5 days old until 10 years old. I loved that job and still go back to visit but could not keep it due to my class schedule. I grew up with 8 dogs and 6 cats, I love animals and I am willing to care for them as well. I work as a culinary assistant at Silverado Assisted Living, which had me do many things including meal prep and small portions of meals for residents, plus plating and serving the residents. I own a 2009 Honda Fit with about 120,000 miles, it is a reliable car with 5 seats available.
