I am an experienced animal care technician with 12 years experience in the animal health care field, who absolutely loves having made the career choice she has! Most of my experience is in veterinarian clinic settings, where I have held every position across the board. I am currently still working in a clinic environment, so my knowledge base is always growing! Over the years I have gained experience working with all types of animals, and enjoy having the opportunity to do so. I myself am the owner of two dogs [Hooka the Jack Russell and Song the Mix Breed], and two birds [Victor the Quaker and Widget, Victor's pet parakeet], and love having the opportunity to provide the level of care for other peoples animals that I would expect for my own. At Current, I have numerous openings during the week and weekend for dog walking, pet sitting, and a variety of other animal related services. Please keep reading for more details! Animals Currently Being Accepted As Clients; Dogs, Cats, Birds [large and small], Exotic Cats, Rodents, Primates, Reptiles, Amphibians, Cattle, Horses, Chickens/Geese/Etc. I have extensive experience with all of the above listed animals and am happy to discuss your unique needs. A brief overview of services offered is as follows; -Daily Exercise or potty breaks -Dog Walking -Pet Sitting [I am currently unable to stay overnight in home but can make early morning, daytime, and late night trips] -Feedings/Medication administration, Husbandry items [cleaning litter boxes, cages, etc.] -'Keeping up appearances' [turning lights on and off, picking up papers and mail, watering plants/yard etc.] -Basic behavioral advice or recommendations [Equivalent care available for live stock and large animals] 'SPECIAL NEEDS' PET OWNERS PLEASE NOTE: Over the years I have developed a unique ability to work with behavioral and anxiety issue pets, as well as those often deemed as aggressive or confrontational. In fact, for many years I ran a rescue group that specialized in helping animals with behavioral issues or special needs. I have developed a keen understanding of body language and subtle communication and have a high success rate handing and even making friends with pets who others have not been able to develop a comfortable relationship with. I will not exclude your pet and would be happy to discuss their special needs [medical or behavioral].
