Hello all pet owners!
My name is Lena Stasiak, I am a sophomore at the University of Maine, studying zoology. I have lived with pets my entire life and have much experience working with animals of all kinds. For eight years I volunteered at the Humane Society as a foster for kittens and cats, caring for over 80 felines. This responsibility included administering medicine as well as providing general care and love. I also volunteered in the wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for orphaned baby birds and squirrels.
As a zoology major, my goal is to be able to work with animals for the rest of my life. Not only is it my field of study, but it is something I truly enjoy doing.
