Pet sitter in Lafayette, Louisiana

In addition to my lifelong dog ownership and experience caring for two litters of puppies, I am a puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence. As such, I have raised my own puppy to become a service dog; before and after my time with him, I puppy sat other puppies in training as well. This provided me experience following rules that my personal pets had never needed before, plus mandatory reporting of behaviors to his company. I can apply these skills to sitting for my clients, always keeping you updated and maintaining any protocols you have for your pooch.

I graduated from Tulane University, where we have an organization that works with CCI to raise service dogs. The club has its own network of puppy sitters and we have seen seventeen dogs go through the program. I have spent time with them all and trained the incoming sitters on appropriate behavior, training, and playing. Sitting so many different dogs has introduced me to all manner of personalities, quirks, and energy levels. Because of this, I'm comfortable sitting dogs of all sorts.
