Pet Sitter in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi there! My name is Sarah and I'm 19 years old. I'm a student at the University of Victoria, but I'm taking a year off to gain some work/life experience. I have a one-year-old Pyrenees/Hound mix named Piper currently, but growing up I had dogs, cats, hamsters, a rabbit, frogs, snakes, a lizard, and even rescued a few baby birds! I love animals and enjoy spending time with them. I would say I'm more of a 'dog person' but that doesn't mean I don't love and welcome all animals! I also used to ride horses, and worked at a stable for miniature horses. I'm young and active, and I live in the Downtown area near the Vic West dog park and the seawall. For jobs, I can do anything from coming to your house to pet-sit, taking pets for walks, cleaning cages, or chaperoning play dates (if your pet gets along with others.) I raised my current dog from puppyhood, so I can assist in potty training and am well-versed in taking care of even very strong willed dogs/puppies. As of right now, my schedule is open from January 1st until September 1st, but I may be taking on some commitments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week. Wage is flexible and depends on what service you would like (Obviously I would charge less for feeding a hamster and more for exercising a high-drive dog, for example.)
