I will walk dogs as necessary. I will also make sure they have enough food and water. I will spend time with them and play with them, or just hang out with them. I also will pet sit with dogs and stay overnight with them, if necessary. I am a huge dog lover, and dogs know this- their reaction to me when they first meet me is very good. I love all dogs and feel they are a treasure, and people are lucky to have them. I give them the utmost respect and greatly appreciate them. When I walk them, I give them time to do their business, and of course I pick up their poop. Once their business is done, I walk them at a brisker pace so that they can get exercise and enjoy themselves. I will walk dogs solo or with a group of dogs. But before I would walk a dog with other dogs, I would talk to the dog's owner first and make sure that the dog gets along with other dogs, and I'd make sure it is okay with the dog's owner to walk the dog with other dogs. Also if it is all right with the dog's owner, I would take the dog to a dog park. At the park I would be very attentive to make sure everything goes smoothly and I would make sure that there are no problems with other dogs at the park. If there are problems, I would leave the park immediately. Also, if the weather is rainy, extremely cold or extremely hot, I would just take the dog out to do its business and then bring it right back in - you don't want a dog getting sick or overly heated. But I will let a dog have as much time outside as possible, because the dog's time with me may be the only time he or she has to be outside, and dogs need this time and they deserve this time. Also, if a dog owner needs me to do other specific things for the dog that I am able to do, I will do them. I have no trouble being there for an animal that gives unconditional love and loyalty. Dogs love being with people, and I love spending time with dogs, so it's a win-win situation all the way around. The benefits are priceless.
