I was Carleys' supervisor in Mississippi while we rebuilt storm torn houses for Habitat For Humanities. I have been friends with her ever since. It is my honor to speak on her behalf. Carley is dedicated and hard working. She brings a good sense of humor with her to any situation which makes her great company to have around. In my opinion Carley is a natural born leader and I've watched, first hand, her initiative hard at work. She takes pride in what she produces and Carley never disappoints. As for her pet skills it is obvious that she has a great affinity and love for animals. She was friendly toward my own dogs and they responded in kind. I can recall many times when her mother traveled cross county for several weeks or simply away for the weekend and left Carley to care for a minimum of 3 birds, 4 cats, 5 (mostly elderly) dogs, a ferret or two and an aging iguana that she seemed to have unlimited reserves of patience when dealimg with the cranky reptile. She was diligent in feeding them, walking them, and making sure they were safe at all times. She walked them to a park several times a day and stayed highly attuned to their health and nutritional needs. In addition, Carley always gave the owner a full report of their pets' care when they checked in or upon return from their trip. There are not many people in whom I would fully trust to properly care for my pets in my absence, but Carley is one of them.
