Pet Sitter in Sherman, Texas

Hi everyone! My name is Liz and I'm a pet lover looking to help those who lead busy lives or just need some extra help. Growing up, I had a couple of pets including dogs, cats, guinea pigs and a fish. I even got to take care of the class hamster for a week when I was in kindergarten! I have been pet sitting for family and friends over the years too. While I was in high school, I was a part of a specialty program for three years that focused on animal science. I took courses in Small Animal Care and Management, Veterinary Medical Applications and Advanced Animal Science. Unlike most traditional programs, this program stepped outside the realm and I was able to study and learn about zoo animals, pets, exotics, wildlife and production animals. I was involved in many field based and community service projects as well as mentorships and internships at animal related businesses in the area. Because of all of that, I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals. While I ended up not pursing anything science or animal related professionally, I do lots of volunteer work with animals with organizations such as the Humane Society, the SPCA, the zoo, wildlife reserves, local shelters and rescue centers. As far as services, I offer pet sitting, dog walks, dog park trips, pet feeding, pet grooming, and overnight care.
