Nice to meet you! My name is Stephanie. I just recently moved to Sacramento from Santa Cruz and I'm hoping to continue working with animals here and learning all I can about their animal behavior and needs. I worked with cats at the animal shelter in Santa Cruz County and I am the cat mommy of a beautiful 9 year old domestic long hair cat named Starfire who has been with me since he was born. I have more experience with cats but I do have some experience with dogs as well and I love all animals! I am very passionate about working with animals and I have a lot of patience and empathy for them. I do not see animals as just pets, but, as family members with just as much capacity to feel as humans have. A little more about me: I'm 27 years old. I've been around animals all my life. I have an award in Communication (ten units completed) and I'm a few months away from getting my associates degree in Criminal Justice. I just recently left my job as a Care Taker for the elderly when I moved to Sacramento. I like to do stuff outdoors, camping, hiking, etc... I'm currently in the process of setting up my own etsy shop and experimenting with making my own bath and body products, clothing designs, and other creative pursuits.
