I have had the opportunity to grown up in a household with dogs every since I can remember and through these experiences I have learned that dogs are one of the most pure, loyal, loving animals on this Earth. My love for dogs grew into a passion for all animals and it has motivated me to pursue a career in wildlife conservation. Before accepting an environmental conservation position I worked as an animal technician at a dog daycare and hotel for 6 months which deepened the love and appreciation I have for dogs. Everyday I made it a goal to make sure that I showed the exact same amount of love to each dog that came in so they knew they were loved equally. I built strong relationships with each dog and became very familiar with their personalities and behavioral patterns including their socialization and feeding tendencies. I learned how to administer medications to dogs and how to identify medical concerns. I also familiarized myself with varying dog breeds and their habits; for example, we normally rested Great Danes and playful Dobermans before and after lunch to reduce the likelihood of bloat. I recently moved to South Lake Tahoe where I once again obtained a job at the local dog daycare. I have been working there for the past 4 months and have fallen in love with the extremely diverse group of kiddos that I've had the chance to get to know and love. I am new to the Tahoe area and would love to meet as many four legged friends as possible. I am more than happy to provide services in dog walking, house visits, as well as boarding.
