Hello there! My name is Bridget Bruno and I have been working with and around dogs all my life. Big or little I love them all! Growing up my family had a mutt named Doggy and Whiskey a black lab with white spots. My newest baby is Skipper a poodle mix whom I inherited from my sister. I firmly believe that God brings different animals in our lives to teach us and give us things and animals are a gift. I have volunteered with the Foothills Animal Shelter for over 2 years and walked dogs of all sizes. I grew up with dogs and my favorite is mutts, yeah, I admit it ?. Why I want to be a dog walker: I really love meeting new people and I love dogs! Dog walking is a way to help you and your dog stay happy and healthy and I’m happy to do my part! I also firmly believe that walking dogs is essential to helping your dog get into and stay in balance. When I walk your dog: I will pick your dog up from your house and we will walk in your neighborhood and return him or her to your place. I will leave a report with you stating how the walk went and if your dog went to the bathroom while on the walk. I will ask if you can make poop bags available if there are not any poop bag stations in your area. When I stop by to feed your pet: I’ll leave a note letting you know that I stopped by or if you prefer I can call or email you. I’m happy to let your pet out to go to the bathroom if needed. If your animal requires medication I’m familiar with administering medication orally to dogs and have given shots to dogs two times. If your animal requires shots I prefer you show me one time how you want the shot administered. I want you and your pet to feel comfortable and get the best care. What I would like to know about your dog: Does your dog have any health or behavior issues? If your dog is extremely aggressive with other dogs or people I’m not a trained behaviorist so I would refer you to a specialized trainer who will work with your dog.
