Hello! My name is Abbie Bergeron and I am a 21 year old college student at the University of Southern Maine. I absolutely love animals and have 3 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, and a freshwater fish aquarium at home. I began caring for others' pets when I was 15 years old. I am very comfortable around animals and love taking care of them. I have cared for dogs (puppies and adult), cats (kittens and adult), fish, turtles, chickens, gerbils, rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs. In addition to pet sitting I have also worked at a pet store taking care of a similar variety of animals and their needs. Having pets myself, I understand that pets are extremely important family members and will take care of them with the same diligence that I do my own pets. I am often hesitant to put my pets in the care of new people and I know many others feel the same way. I assure you that my pet care is of a very high standard. The services that I provide include (but are not necessarily limited to) feeding, brushing, walking, spending time with pets, and other house duties (bringing in mail, packages, etc.) that may need to be taken care of when homeowners are away.
