Pet Sitter in Allen, Texas

I'm an
Individual
If I was looking for someone, who can take a great care of my own dog? What do I expect them to be? We treat all our four-legged guests as if they are our own pups with all our love and patience. This is the best way to make your lovely family members feel great in our place. What our day usually looks like? First, we got rid of anxiety, excess energy and build bonds between us through the long walk. I know how important the walks are for us and our dogs. Therefore, 2-4 hours a day are minimum amount of time we spend outside. Morning is the perfect time to run, take a bike, scooter or use dog's backpack with some weights for those, who love to be on a mission and are full of excess energy. I love that feeling of satisfaction we all have after that morning exhausting (but pleasant) physical activities. After a good breakfast and long healthy sleep we play in the yard or in the house. Our kids are always take active part in the games (if they are at home). I love to use mental toys with our guests. Dog's puzzles were favorites for some pups, and hidden tasty treats, of course. In the middle of the day, if weather permits, we have another walk. A new route is very beneficial. New places, smells, sounds. Feed the brain through the senses. Evening walks are usually are about 1,5 hours. Just relaxed promenade in the park or around the neighborhood. We practice a leash-training during our walks (if we need to), so everyone can enjoy the process of being outside. Potty breaks are available all the time. Even at night we can do some short trips to the backyard. Note: I am flexible with any activity. If your dog is not a great fan of a long walks, that is absolutely fine! My experience. I had dogs since I was 13 years old. My first dog was a Giant Schnauzer, beautiful black Show Dog with an independent character. We had a dog training classes. He was full of energy and to get rid of it we used a heavy tire and a special harness so he could run and build some muscles and be calmer after the walk. Later German Shepherd and Moscow Watchdog appeared in our life when we moved to a large house with spacious yard. I was responsible for training, playing, walking, food preparation, bathing, visits to our vet. I cooked all home made food for our guys. We bought our dogs when they were puppies (8-9 weeks old). So, I am experienced in potty/puppy training and know how to take care of a little ones. I took Pet CPR & First Aid Certification Course recently. I complete the course "Dog Training Foundation" at Karen Pryor Academy (positive-reinforcement animal training). And my plans are to continue education in that direction. I work as volunteer at SPCA of Texas in McKinney. Now I work from home and can dedicate 24 hours a day to your pup. Our sons are responsible and they know how to behave around the dogs, they follow the rules. Our home is smoke-free. We have a baby gate on the stairs. All doors to forbidden areas are closed. Our kids keep all their toys upstairs, no small things on the ground floor. The place is spacious, uncluttered, free of wires and flower pots are out of reach. It is allowed to play in the living room, to run and even catch a ball. The yard is clean, green grass, pet-friendly, NO pesticides or chemicals in use. We have fence around the swimming pool. If there is anything else I can do for your dog, just let me know. Serious stuff: - all dogs must be vaccinated (according to their age); - I need to know about allergies and/or any health issues; - have an ID tag (I also use my own tag with my name and phone number); - on fleas and ticks medication, dewormed; Please, if you are going to bring a puppy before his/her full cycle of vaccinations, keep in mind, that I have different dogs in my house and in the back yard. We walk and visit different places and it is impossible to keep everything sterile. You are welcome to provide me with any information about your pup. Bring his/her food and feeding schedule, your vet phone number, emergency contact. We have clean dog beds, bowls, toys. I give dogs only their own food and treats. I always ask an owner permission to give them a bully stick to chew or a piece of treat. I do not have crates, so bring a crate if your dog needs it. I'll do my best for your pup to feel less stressful and yearning while you are away. Thank you.
