Pet Sitter in Saint Paul, Minnesota

I'm an
Individual
Hi there! My name is Trina, I'm 27 years old and I am a vet tech who is also in school for animal behavior. Thank you for coming across my page and considering me to take care of your pets. I put my profile away due to personal conflict, but I am back and ready to take care of animals again. I am hoping to make animal sitting a career. Not only am I passionate about veterinary medicine, I have a huge passion of loving and caring for animals. I have a certificate in Animal Science and have worked in previous boarding facilities. I have a background in animal behavior, medication, and nutrition. I’m also educated on certain diseases like kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus and heart disease. I also have experience of working with Brachycephalic breeds as well! I am very educated on dog specific breeds, some of my favorites being the Rottweiler (I am a proud Rottie Mama, but sadly my boy passed away last year from Bone Cancer) Doberman, and Standard Poodle. I also specialize in exotic breeds of cats such as the Sphynx, Bengal, Lykoi and Savannah. Does your dog have a partial ACL tear? No worries. I have experience in caring for pets with joint issues. Thanks to my schooling in animal science, I have experience with taking care of chickens, mini goats, hamsters, gerbils, turtles, hamsters, birds, fish, ferrets, rabbits, and chinchillas! I love exotic animals! I also am open to helping with any training your dog may need. From young to old, nothing is too much of a challenge for me. Each animal is unique and special in their own way. My schedule tends to be very open and flexible. With enough time and notice, I am more than happier to tweak my schedule to accommodate to what your animals needs may be or if you need to be at your home more often. When house sitting for a new family, I do require a meet and greet prior to my stay. This allows us to meet, establish a client relationship, and it gives your pets some familiarity with me. I also can answer any questions or concerns the family may have. It also helps establish trust between the both of us. I take pride in establishing a genuine bond not only with the animal, but their family as well. They are welcoming me into the comfort of their own home and I care about them feeling as comfortable as they can with me.
