MY HISTORY: In 2012, a series of life events turned my reality on its head. These experiences made me reconsider everything I thought I knew about life and to realize just how little I ever even knew at all. So many great ships I chartered and carelessly sailed; I could never truly appreciate any of it until after the great storm came to humble me. I should have heeded the warning winds, and when the lightning struck down there was no time to react and no place to hide. By God's grace I held on long enough for the howling winds to become silent, the darkness to lift from the sky, and for the calm to be restored. This journey opened my eyes to so many things I had been blind to. It awoken parts of me that had been asleep for a very long time. It instilled in me a new sense of gratitude; compelling me to find more purposeful ways of investing my time, my talents, my skills, and my life. MY SERVICES: I am often available with short notice for nearby areas and can offer services such as day sitting, exercise, basic grooming, training assistance, or simply a second set of hands when needed. MY EXPERIENCE: I do not hold degrees in veterinary medicine nor animal psychology; but I have cared for twenty cats, a dozen rodents, five dogs, a few birds, a couple of fish, and one crazy ferret. I have also completed a number of PetSmart certified dog training courses, which were priceless in my opinion. MY PURPOSE: After 20-years in Computer Technology and Customer Service I am just now starting to explore completely new career paths that are more meaningful to me. Animals have always been dear to my heart and are likely the the most sincere expression of love we can experience today in this world. Helping others to find efficient solutions to problems will always be at the core of whatever cause I support. , MY AVAILABILITY: Any day, any time, any duration; I am open to discuss most any schedule you are needing: * Under a 10-mile travel distance, any service at least 1 billable hour or more. * Between 10-20 miles I would need advance notice and preferably 3 billable hours. * Over 20 miles would need to be discussed on a case-by-case basis. MY RATES: For most any common services, I would simply ask you to offer a rate somewhere between $10-$15 per hour.. and that this rate might fairly reflect the level and amount of service requested.
