My name is Ann and it's nice to meet you. Prices are negotiable depending upon the job. I have spent decades loving & caring for animals of many types... Dogs, Cats, Horses, Chickens and some other Farm Animals, Fish, Sugar Gliders, Ferrets, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Gerbils, Mice, etc... I absolutely love animals and they sense that because they love me back very quickly. I find animals are filled with unconditional love, playful energy, and a need for affection and attention, which is more than I can say about most people. I'm an honest & reliable 55-year-old responsible adult. I respect other people's property, instructions, & rules. I live on SSI which means my schedule is wide open & I need the income! I grew up in NYC, but I've lived in Lehigh Acres for 12 years and have a clean drivers license. I would love to look after your beloved pet(s) when you can't be there yourself. I believe it's important to care for animals in their familiar surroundings, where they feel comfortable & their routine doesn't change. When I was 11 years old, my first paid job was dog walking for neighbors in NYC. In 1979 my career working with animals had begun! I have many years of experience with SPECIAL NEEDS ANIMALS as well & can administer medications safely. I've worked with blind dogs & cats. I owned a diabetic German Shepard needing daily insulin injections. My favorite cat was bitten by a Brown Recluse spider to his face. He's got a scar, otherwise, my baby is perfect. I've also administered post-operative care, wound care, and physical therapy for a black Lab/Ciao mix after requiring knee surgery as a puppy. I'm currently taking courses to become a dog trainer. While not a licensed or professional animal trainer yet, I am happy to reinforce any training regimen you have in place. I love to get down on the floor or grass and just smother them with love and affection. I keep them engaged and play on their level. I have no problems or fear caring for any size and breed of dog. If you need anything else cared for while you're away (housesitting, plant watering, pool maintenance, light cleaning, receiving mail and packages, turning lights and security system on and off as instructed, etc...).
