Hi I'm Rachael I'm 18 years old, graduated, and saving up for college. I love animals and would love to go to college for business to eventually start my own pet boarding business or possibly join an animal rescue. I completely understand why most pet owners hate to leave their animals alone or boarded or even with a sitter. The main reason why most people don't send their pets to be boarded is because they spend too much time in a cage or kennel and aren't cared for properly. The reason I want to open my own boarding business is to provide a place you know your pets are happy and taken care of. I'm an extremely caring individual and I feel the need to love and help those who can't care for themselves. I've grown up with pets and always have a pet of my own. I can honestly say I treat my pets how I would treat my own children if I had any. I believe pets are part of the family and need just as much attention and affection as a child needs. They need supervision, playtime, exercise, grooming, healthy diets, and lots of love. I see pet sitting as more than just a job because of how much I enjoy meeting new pets and bonding with them. I live in Mishawaka and do not drive or own a car, but I have transportation from family, public buses, or uber.
