My name is Natalie, and I moved back to TX from OK to pursue my education. As my husband is still living in OK I do travel there some, but I am almost always available outside of class. Since moving back in August 2016, I have been a full-time student and don't plan on obtaining a full-time job as school is my main focus, so for work I currently do Pet/House sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. Saying I am a big animal lover would be an understatement. I actually am going to school for biology/zoology and plan on obtaining a career working with animals. I mostly pet sit for dogs, but can help with all kinds (cats, fish, rabbits, reptiles, etc.) I have fish and three dogs (Corgi, Bulldog, Maltese) and also take care of my parents 2 dogs (Akita and Great Pyrenees). I have a lot of experience in dealing with elderly pets and really sensitive/special needs (I have learned A LOT from owning a bulldog), so giving meds is no problem at all. Walking multiple dogs at a time and giving baths are also no problem. If you are needing someone to just sit and keep them company and let out for potty breaks, then I'm great for that too because I have plenty of homework to take up my time! So what sets me apart from the rest? In addition to having a lot of experience with big breed dogs, I have an eye for detail and always take the little things into consideration that others can tend to forget or are oblivious to: checking for ticks after playing outside, routinely cleaning wrinkly dogs' skin folds and wiping down messy faces after eating, making sure to prevent over heating in the hot summer months while playing/walking outside for the breeds with typical breathing problems, or even just paying close attention to behavior changes or signs of stress. I make it a point to really get to know your animal not just because I love them all but because, as a pet parent, I would want this done for me. I'm familiar with the regular house sitting duties: take trash out, pool maintenance, check mail, water plants, etc. If you're wanting some cleaning done while gone I can do that too! (For extra). I am available for overnights as well; they would just need to be planned in enough advance. I have plenty of experience from owning animals as well as previous jobs with trusted sources that I'd gladly provide as references. I look forward to meeting your fur babies!
