Hi! I'm Lea, a pet sitter in New Albany, Ohio. I have a passion for animals and I love taking care of them. I provide pet sitting as well as overnight. My care experience ranges from birds, cats, dogs, fish( no saltwater experience), lizards/reptiles, and also provide overnight care. I understand the importance of providing them with the best care possible and I strive to make sure that all of the pets I take care of are comfortable and well taken care of. My services don't just stop at taking care of them, I also make sure that the owners are comfortable and have peace of mind knowing that their beloved pet is safe with me. I’ve been working with dogs behaviorally and care wise since I was around 6 years old, and I can handle a wide variety of personalities and any medical requirements your pet needs. I have volunteer experience with Franklin county dog shelter where I would read to “shy/timid” dogs and help them not only come out of their shell but assist them in finding their forever home. I also have 7 years of experience working with birds and their care. My prior job was as a kennel technician at a veterinary hospital where I would clean, medicate and care for the animals boarding at our facility. I have small animal experience from previously owning two gerbils and two skinny pigs(hairless Guinea pigs). The pets that I currently own are my dog, tarantula, goldfish, and my juvenile snapping turtle. I also pet sit for my friends pets which are 3 goldfish, cat, two dogs, and rabbit. If they run out of food or supplies for any of their animals I make sure to go out and get the exact supplies they purchase for their pets.
