Working towards a doctorate degree in veterinary medicine. Aspiring Wildlife Veterinarian. A life-long pet owner and animal lover with a comprehensive background in all aspects of animal care and service. Experienced in animal care of different species such as lizards, fish, snakes, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats, and of course dogs and cats. Motivated with wide-ranging abilities relating to animal care including pet sitting, dog walking, and basic training techniques. Experience in volunteer animal services at the A.S.P.C.A and Sugar Hill Animal Hospital's Explorer Program. Passionate about promoting animal health and extending the lives of beloved pets. Meticulous, excellent at juggling multiple tasks and working under pressure. A friendly and helpful person who is consistently prompt and willing to work a flexible schedule. Currently working full time at Suwanee Animal Hospital as a Kennel Technician (since October 2015). Duties in this position include feeding, handling, bathing, grooming, walking, and general care of patients and boarders. Also have experience in holding dogs/cats (for vaccine shots, fecals, etc.), dealing with aggressive dogs/cats, and administering an animals's medication. Available to work Monday-Thursday any time after 8:00pm, Friday any time after 6:30pm, Saturday any time after 4:30pm, and Sunday any time after 12pm.
