Hi! I'm Kate, a marine conservationist and freelance writer who loves to pet sit! I work remotely and love having pets as my coworkers to keep me company, but have not yet adopted my own fur baby. I am free for pet sitting in the Sunnyvale, California area. I worked for 3 years as a Kennel Assistant at Radnor Veterinary Hospital while in high school and used to treat sick animals that were boarding in the hospital over the weekends. I was responsible for giving all medical treatments while the veterinarians were away on weekends: injecting insulin, managing IV's, treating open wounds, managing medications, etc. for the sick animals boarding at the hospital. After that, at Main Line Animal Rescue I specialized in socializing abused animals (dogs & cats mostly). I have many years of experience caring for for dogs, fish, cats, birds, lizards, and exotic animals / wildlife. Whether you need someone to take your pup on a walk during the day or need a pet sitter to stay at your place with your babies overnight while you are on vacation, I'm your go-to pet sitter! I've been dog sitting for 16 years now and use it as a side job to help pay rent. I also worked at PetSmart for a summer as a dog washer and nail clipper. I'd love to meet your pets and you! My services include overnight care, daytime pet sitting, and dog walking. I charge $100.00 DAILY for overnight sitting and $30/ hour for daytime pet sitting while you're away at work!
