I've had extensive experience house sitting for owners who prefer to have their pets stay at their home while they are away. My rate is higher for that, but I've got references, and I'm happy to submit for a background check as well. If you have an older pet that is on medications, I'm detail-oriented to be able to take your direction as well. I’ve known Brad for many years and whenever he would come to visit my family my cat Silver would gravitate to him like a magnet. You would think that Silver knew Brad his whole life because he was one of his favorite people. When I would go out of town with my family Brad would cat sit for us and it was like my cat was with his long lost friend. Brad is very responsible, super trustworthy and I have yet to see any pet that doesn’t love him. I am co-owner of a dog rescue shelter in Madison Wisconsin. I met Brad several years ago through friends we have through high school. I told him about a program we have that allows people to bring older dogs into their home during the holidays for a few days. He registered immediately! Over the course of about three years, not only would he take in a dog every Christmas, but he would also swing by unannounced just to hang out in the playroom with the dogs! It's not too often you meet someone who has a real special affinity for animals like he does. Cats love this guy as well! I've seen it! I take personal credit for getting him to register as a pet sitter because it is just second nature to him and he is a great guy!
