Through high school and college, I house-sat for the same couple for 7 years. This included feeding their cat, dog, and fish; watering their plants; spending several hours with the animals each evening; and overnights. They continued to use my services until I moved out-of-state and always mentioned appreciating how much I respected their space (leaving things exactly as they had, etc.) and how much time I spent with their pets. Additionally, I worked in the small animal veterinary field for 4 years. I am comfortable administering medications and caring for post-op animals if needed. At various times growing up, we had all sorts of pets in our house! Iguanas, lizards, salamanders, millipedes, hamsters, birds, and always: cats and dogs. I’m still wanting to own a rabbit though!
