Hello! My name is Alex, I'm 26, and I'd love to be your next pet sitter/walker! I currently have about 8 years of animal experience under my belt, working in both pet store and veterinary settings. I love animals of all ages and species, but I have a particularly soft spot for geriatric cats and pocket pets :) no need to worry about food or other supplies running out! I currently work at a two-in-one veterinary clinic/pet store and I wouldn't mind picking up anything your kiddo might need. My day to day routine includes caring for my geriatric kidney cat, my special needs cat, and school when I'm not working. Before returning to the veterinary filed, I was often put in charge of nightly animal care at work. Daily tasks would include spot cleaning the store's animal's habitats, refreshing their food and water, making sure their habitats are safe and secure, and medicating any sick animals residing in the designated sick room. I love caring for and interacting with all animals, from dogs to birds to small animals, even reptiles so long as they don't require live rodent feeding! I can take care of puppies and kittens 6 weeks and older, and I would be happy to administer any oral or injectable, subcutaneous medication they may need. I look forward to meeting you and your fur family soon! ❤ I currently work 9:00am - 6:00pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, making me available any time after 7:00pm. I am off Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday in which I am available all day :) I understand what it's like to have a finicky eater, I have to follow a very specific routine in how I prepare my geriatric cat's dinner to ensure she eats all of it. Written instructions are always welcome, no matter how particular. I want to follow your baby's routine and mimick what you do as their pet parent to ensure their comfort, health, and safety while they're under my care.
