I spent a lot of my childhood being mentored by my grandparents (a retired vet tech and a licensed dog breeder) in the field of animal care on their farm. I learned a lot of general medical knowledge which pushed me to pursue a degree in pre-medical biology and develop my passion for being a caretaker.
