Pet Sitter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

I'm a 30 something year old woman that grew up on a farm with numerous dogs & cats for siblings. In high school, I worked 4 days a week for 2 years as a bather/grooming assistant for borzoi & Afghan hound show dogs. When I rejoined the workforce after taking a few years off to raise my family, I searched out various animal care positions. These included kennel assistant, grooming assistant, dog handler, dog trainer, shift supervisor & eventually operations manager at 2 different doggie daycare & boarding facilities. Sadly, the first daycare sold out to a larger pet care chain whose policies & ethics did not match my own. The second closed it's doors after being unable to sustain itself through the first few years. I currently work part time at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary technician, with the goals of becoming certified & expanding my knowledge & experience in animal Care. I could use a little more income on the side, however. I have between 7 & 8 years experience working mainly with dogs, but some cats & other small animals. My skills include; walking, feeding, training, overnight care, administering medications, bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, tooth brushing, gland expression, recognizing & responding to animal body language & behaviors, & above all, loving animals unconditionally.
