RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 1979 to Present DOG WALKER IN NYC at 11 years old (1979 to 1981). I was entrusted to control up to 5 dogs simultaneously through the streets and parks of Manhattan. EXPERIENCE WITH DISABLED ANIMALS: Diabetic, Blind, Deaf, Traumatic Injury, Post-Op Care, Physical Therapy, Newborns, and the Elderly. I am comfortable administering medications precisely as instructed by the owner. VOLUNTEER WORK: In 1984 I assisted the ASPCA in NYC with various needs; such as adoption coordination, office support tasks, records management, customer service, team coordination/collaboration, and general animal care and comfort. COMMUNICATE PROFESSIONALLY with pet owners via an initial in-person meeting, and recording all pet information, instructions, and requirements during client meetings to ensure a complete understanding of owner's needs and expectations. Communicate via phone, email, and text during your absence. I’m always happy to send pics of your pet's activities if desired. PET COMPANION: Give animals proper attention and affection to promote a secure environment in the owner's absence with regular daily exercise, walks, mental stimulation, affection, and qrigorous playtime activities. I am NOT EASILY INTIMIDATED and am comfortable with any size or breed of dogs, cats, horses… but I’m NOT QUALIFIED to care for Reptiles or Exotic Birds. MEALS: Prepare food and water following instructions from pet owners. CLEANLINESS: Keep animal coats clean and healthy with regular brushing, grooming, or washing All litter boxes scooped and cleaned at least twice a day. All cages, habitats, kennels… will be cleaned and sanitized as needed. HOUSE SITTING DUTIES INCLUDED: I offer additional support in general house-sitting duties, such as collecting your mail and packages, watering plants, putting trash out to the street, maintaining swimming pools, and turning on and off lights and security systems as needed. PRICING: I'm available to care for your pet 7 days a week, days, nights, and overnights. Pricing is individualized and determined by the number of animals, the length of stay, and distance from my house, and should be negotiated directly with each individual client. I will give your pet the love and attention they deserve while you're away, with plenty of playing, petting, and loving.
