Pet Sitter in Hurricane, West Virginia

I'm an
Individual
Pawsitively backed with reliability I am a pet parent myself and currently work as a pet sitter full-time or part-time or as needed. I am a married adult who is very blessed that I do not have to work a regular full-time or part-time job and has been afforded the opportunity to make my living taking care of other peoples pets because I like you, realize that we all have to work hard and in the same retrospect would like to take a vacation from time to time and it’s not always so easy to take our beloved pets with us every-time. I’ve been on both sides and understand the anxiety that comes from searching for someone you and others can put your faith in and trust they have work ethic. I have been in this business long enough to allow me the independence and financial security to do this as a living and what better living than doing something you love. I try to accommodate all my clients requests and be flexible to the times you need me. If I feel that I cannot fulfill the request upon asking then I will graciously be honest in declining. Afternoons typically book really quickly and I do have a few regular clients that I look after in the noon hours and have for 5 years now. If you let me know your care requests, I’ll do my best to accommodate. Working with pets and clients has been my passion for many years and I have a lot of references and proven experience to provide my future clients so they have the peace of mind that their home and pets are valued and respected. I have worked in a local veterinary setting and owned my own pet sitting business in home and off site for many years, in addition to dog walking, in home visits to an array of dog breeds, temperaments, cats, fish, birds and even some reptiles on a few occasions. I can administer medicine, accommodate distance runs/walks or just be the gal who lets your pup out for a potty break mid afternoon or morning. I am currently developing an adventure hiking program where I can pick up your pup and go on a local trail hike if you would like to discuss that as a future option/pricing. I am a very active dog mom and typically clock anywhere from 10-15 miles a week just walking my working dogs. If you desire that your pup be more socialized with other dogs, I can provide an opportunity to pair your dog with my therapy dog and a few select dogs who have been under my care and training for years and dogs I know will be safe to properly socialize your dog without all the habits and safety concerns that can arise in a commercial or public settings or with a large number of dogs. Socialization is so important if done correctly. I want your dog to always leave my care with a positive and controlled experience and you with the firm peace of mind that you have chosen the right candidate. I have two dogs and 3 cats of my own who are very much like my fur children. I truly understand how imperative it is to find a pet sitter you can trust to do as instructed, one that listens, and one who is responsible in entering and exiting your home and making sure your pets and premises are secure. Reliability seems like a rare quality these days and I have experienced some poor management skills and concerns from people I have personally hired to look after my pets. Believe me in saying this, I get it. I also get that not everyone wants to drop off their dog at a daycare, nor does every pup enjoy that commercial daycare setting. It’s important to accommodate the pets needs and every animal comes with diverse personalities and temperaments and that’s acceptable. I can be Pawsitively Adventurous if your dogs breed requires a-lot of exercise and interaction or I can be Pawsitively Zen to accommodate our elder pups or timid cats and dogs. In core, the willingness and ability to adapt to variable situations and temperaments is no problem for me. As a pet parent I understand the accountability it takes to be in this industry and the importance of reassuring the pet parent that their babies are well taken care so I encourage folks to me about my experience, references, and background. I have been extensively state and federally background checked for previous state and federal jobs in the past. If clients are not asking me the personally questions then I would be concerned. Transparency and integrity is the key to being in this industry and becoming successful with repeat and happy clients. If you have any questions or accommodations, please feel free to ask. I can accommodate clients needs in the Hurricane, Teays Valley and Scott Depot areas. Contact me first prior to book with needs, location so we can further discuss pricing and discounts. I like to step a meet and greet prior to confirming appts.
