Hi- my name is Melissa. I have cared for dogs, cats and other animals for over 20 years. Big or small - I LOVE THEM ALL. I am very active in dog and cat rescue and fostering. I have vast experience with senior and special needs dogs. I can give medication and shots to dog & cats as well. I have completed courses on pet psychology. I prefer to meet your pet first ensure we are both good fits for one another and I bring a free bag of vegan/organic dog treats. Two years ago I wrote a book on how to work with animals who came from an abusive past titled: Love from Luke: Lessons learned from a Rescued Dog.
Your furry family member is welcomed to stay in my home or I can stay at your place. I am more than happy to arrange daily play dates and walks. Please contact me with any concerns or questions. I am more than happy to answer any questions and spend time with your furbaby. pets. I look forward to speaking with you! My overnight rate is $55.00 for one dog and $65.00 for two. My dog walking rate is $17.00 a walk.

I cannot say enough kind words about Melissa and her care for my two dogs when I am away or need a dog walker. All I have to do is say the name Melissa and my dogs instantly smile. One of my dogs has severe skin allergies. Melissa is the only person who he allows to bath him and apply the ointment needed to help him. Anyone who is able to get Melissa to care for their animal is extremely lucky!

Melissa has a heart of gold, she is very attentive to both my dogs and cats and she seems to have a calming way of communicating with them without saying a word. My cat who suffered from abuse before we rescued her comes to Melissa and allows her to pet her and even brush her. TRUST ME this is very rare.
