My availability is flexible; it's easiest for me to work with a two week notice prior to necessary services. Services And Training: I am currently employed at Deerfield Animal Hospital and have been a veterinary technician with them for about 6 months, and in the field for a little over a year. Before this I have worked for almost 3 years as a Bather at a Petsmart grooming salon in GA. I can take care of: administering medications (oral, chewable, injections, etc.) animal feeding, facilitating exercise, as well as bathing/ brushing and nail trimming. I also have personal transportation available and I can be there for overnight pet sitting if you are going on a long vacation. I can follow whatever specific instruction for care, administering medication, etc. I love animals and have since I was a kid, although I have mostly taken care of dogs/cats, I have interacted with reptiles and birds before and as long as you have instructions for care, I can follow them. In general I need to be able to continue to go to work while I am pet sitting, so as long as your pet can be left alone for at least 5 hours at a time, I can normally come to check on the pets during my lunch break as long as it's not too far. I am fine with either staying at your home while I watch your pets or you can leave your pets with me, although do be advised I do have 2 cats at home, so pets who do stay with me at my home do need to be good with cats. Also if you just need someone to come by and check on/ feed/ give meds to your pets but you are uncomfortable with them staying with me, or having me in your home, I can accommodate that as well.
