Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile! My name is Maddie; I am an 18 year old animal lover with tons of pet experience. I personally own two dogs, and I've dedicated my life to providing the best possible care for them. I was previously certified in dog and cat CPR/First Aid and plan on renewing my certification this fall. I enjoy hiking with my dogs and competing in dog competitions. I currently teach a dog obedience team for the 4H dog project, and I've won multiple state champion titles. My dogs are both Advanced Canine Good Citizens, and my older dog is a therapy dog who visits nursing homes regularly. I have volunteered with an animal rescue since 2012, where I frequently administer vaccinations. I've worked in a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant and a holistic pet food store where I have received the top award in the business for customer service. I've owned dozens of species of animals, and I'm very comfortable caring for reptiles, amphibians, small animals, fish, cats, and dogs. I currently own several pets of my own and will soon be starting an education program where I will travel with my critters and educate people on their species and care. In addition to my permanent residents, I'm also a wildlife rehabilitator. I have lots of experience with aggressive, reactive, nervous, and overly energetic dogs and feel comfortable working with all breeds. Please let me know if I can provide any more information for you!
