Hi, my name is Melissa. I am a mother of two children, three dogs, and a cat. I live in Thibodaux and travel to Houma daily. I have been around many animals throughout my life and absolutely adore them. From snakes, frogs, fish, iguanas to everyday cats and dogs, I have learned how to care for them in their unique ways. I enjoy watching my two Boxers play in the yard while being supervised by our 12-year-old Chihuahua. We love to travel with our dogs (sometimes the cat goes) on our camping trips. They are my family. I take pride in how my kids respect my animals and how well the cat and dogs play with each other. It warms my heart to find them cuddled up and sleeping together. Now that my kids are in school, I am looking forward to building a career working with pets and caring for them on a personal level. I understand the challenges of a busy life while caring for animals. I am glad to assist with looking after them in the safety of their own home. Whether your pets need a walk, a little playtime, or medicine while you are at work, I am glad to help. I am happy to stop by the vet or pet store to pick up supplies and food they may need. I know some cats need personal attention or require their litter box cleaning while you are out of town. If you need me to check on your fish or reptiles (sorry, no spiders! I can't help you there.), let me know what they require. I look forward to helping you ensure they are fed, washed before family gatherings, or just letting them outside for a little exercise and relief. My goal is to ease the pressure of animal care while you take on the challenges of a busy life.
