I love animals, and have lots of experience with cats, dogs, and rabbits. I also have a basic knowledge on the daily care of ferrets and will gladly ferret-sit. If you have another type of pet, I can learn how to take care of it as well! Ensuring that animals get the care they deserve is important to me, and I will do my best to help your pets. Cats: My family has had numerous cats, ranging from high-maintenance Persians to a sickly rescue from the streets of Hawaii. Not only have I had to help remove tangles from fur, I also have plenty of experience with cleaning up messes. I volunteered at Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary for two years, and got to know many different cats and learned how to accommodate to their unique personalities and needs. Cats hold a special place in my heart, and I would love to have the privilege of getting to know yours. Dogs: I currently have two dogs. One of them is a rescue who was abused and neglected, so I have ample experience with scared and traumatized dogs. Every dog has their own story, and I recognize that some dogs have certain triggers and boundaries that I will need to be aware of and respect. Rabbits: I currently own a rabbit, and he is the first pet I’ve ever been completely responsible for. I rescued him from a meat pen when he was a few months old, and had to do lots of research before taking him home. Therefore, I know all about bunny care and behavior and can provide quality care to your bunny. I understand that your bun is not a low-maintenance animal and will give him/her the attention they need.
