I have been a pet sitter for about 2 years now, but my experience with being around animals dates back to being in diapers.
I also offer the basic love that animals can need from anyone. Comforting, feeding, playing with, etc. I would treat your companions as if you would.
I volunteered in pet shelters 2 years ago when I started pet sitting. Finding cats and dogs loving homes.
