Pet Sitter in Freeport, Illinois

Hello! I live in Freeport, i love all animals, I am a member of p.e.t.a and have had some terrible things happen to my pets when left in the care of others. I realized that it didn't matter how much money I spent my pets would not be taken care of like I would have wanted. You have to actually have a love for animals, pets. They need to be given the care they need and the care the owner would expect. Leaving your pet with someone is like leaving your child with someone, i do have both and thats how i feel. My dog was abused when I had to leave the state i got back and found my dog was 40 pounds lighter and literally had bite marks from other dogs it is a very disturbing story. I truly believe that someone who is caring for a pet especially someone elses needs to understand that animals have seperation anxiety and it is important to understand the animal to make a connection with them so they are not afraid but comforted by you being there to take care of them. Im the person who will take stray animals to the vet and get them shots and if i can't keep them will until I have interviewed people to find good homes. Pets depend on us as people to know when they need something or if something is wrong since they can't tell us. I am always willing to make that commitment so that every animal i touch i know I will be capable of doing what is expected of me as well as bonding with the animals.
