Who I Am: Hey my name is Ali. I am searching for a pet sitter job opportunity in Pleasanton, California. Available now. Description of Skills: I am comfortable doing maintaining pet health, administering medication, and overnight care. Further, I have personal transportation available. Regarding my experience, I have experience cat sitting. My neighbor works for Safe Cat Foundation, a non-profit organization in which she rescues cats that are feral or cats that have ended up in shelters. Every year, she goes on a two week vacation and I watch her cats for her. She has had up to 21 cats at a time, which included a litter of about 8 week old kittens, and two 3 week old kittens without a mom. For those two kittens, I would have to make their milk formula and bottle feed them a few times a day. Other times, I would have to give medicine to cats that were sick, whether it was ring worm, an eye infection, or an upper respiratory infection. The rest of the responsibilities for the other cats and kittens were playing with them, cleaning their litter boxes, and feeding them. I also own a German Shepherd. He is the second one I've owned and I took him in when he was about 11 weeks old. Although I do live at home with my parents and younger brother, I paid for him and he was my responsibility. Because he was so young, I would wake up every couple hours at night and take him out to go to the bathroom. I would feed him and walk him and play with him. I house trained him, and taught him tricks. He also has anxiety, so he gets medicine for his anxiety everyday.
