Summary: Hello and welcome to my page; it is my pleasure to assist people in the care for their beloved pets. I'm searching for animal care placement in Ogden area, Utah including (but not limited to) Farr West, Roy, Layton, Willard, Harrisville, and more. I hope to contribute my abilities to best serve you and your four legged family members. My availability is flexible. Services And Training: I am comfortable doing animal feeding, administering medication, and cleaning litter boxes/dog runs and can follow a schedule if you have one in place for your pet(s). I can also do basic care for sick or recovering animals including specific dietary needs, kennel/bed cleaning, sling walking, basic grooming, hygiene care, IV fluids, bandaging/stitches care. I have experience working with aggressive or timid animals and have been volunteering with local rescue groups for 15 years now. On top of my volunteer work with dogs and cats in need of help to find homes, I have also owned several different species of pets over the years including: - Dogs (all sizes) - Cats - Hermit Crabs - Hamsters - Crested Gecko - Bearded Dragon - Corn Snakes - Fire Bellied Toads - Crab Spider - Freshwater fish - Betta I have personal transportation available and, if its something you're interested in, I can load your dogs up and (weather permitting) take them to the dog park or hit the hiking trails. I have professional dog walking experience and have a patient, firm approach to handling behavioral problems in animals. I am familiar with several different training tools and prefer to work with the owner to use whichever method the owner also uses including e-collars, harnesses, prong collars, halti-leaders, backpacks, life vests, dog boots/shoes, basket muzzle/nylon muzzle, etc. I do NOT and will not ever use a tool on your pet that you do not use yourself. Dogs are different in their needs and the right tool for one dog could potentially harm another. I respect the training methods and care methods other people have in place for their animals even if they differ from my own.
