Hello, My name is Fernanda, and I recently moved to Columbia, MD, following my husband due to a job transfer. In Brazil, I completed my degree in Psychology at a renowned university, dedicating my career to understanding behaviors and promoting mental health. Currently, I am excited to direct this passion towards animal care as well. Although my degree is highly respected in my home country, here in the United States, it is not recognized as a valid qualification. Faced with this, I decided to turn my attention to an area that has always been very dear to me: animal care. My love for them, combined with my solid foundation in behavioral sciences, motivated me to embark on this new path.
