My name is Melissa and I am a professional pet sitter in Rockford, Illinois. I specialize in exotic pets, and I can care for birds, cats, dogs, rodents, rabbits, insects, fish, and lizards/reptiles. I offer a variety of services, including dog walking, pet grooming, and pet sitting. I have been taking care of pets for over 20 years and have a passion for helping animals. As a pet sitter, I understand how important it is for your pet to be treated with respect and love. I always strive to provide the best possible care for my clients’ pets and ensure their safety and wellbeing during my time with them. In previously worked at a veterinarian office, as well as a grooming shop. I also kept birds, fish, rodents (hamster), cats, and dogs as pets. I am comfortable working with any kind of pet. I will care for exotics as well as any breed of dog, and don't discriminate. Pitbulls and Rottweilers are one of my favorite breeds. Got to watch out for the little dogs trying to bite your ankle 🤣 My rates are $50.00 a day (extra $20 for each additional pet). and I am available to meet the needs of pet owners in Rockford, Illinois and surrounding areas. This is a great deal as boarding at an boarding facility would not only be much more expensive, but have lesser quality of care and puts your pet at risk of getting sick (kennel cough, feline HIV, parvo, etc). With your pets being under my tender loving care they will be so happy and say thank you for letting them stay at home where they feel safe and comfy! If you take them to a kennel they wound be stressed out from the noise, lights, smell, and more than anything would think you abandoned them. By being in their own house you are reassuring them that they will be just fine. If you boarded your pet at another animal facility, they make you pay extra just so your pet can walk around or be played with. They also charge for sending text updates and pictures. ALL of this is included in the daily rates of $50. I will give food, water, treats, clean up their potty, and brush them. I will also send you pictures and we can do a video call so you can stay in touch.
