I am committed to providing a healthy, comfortable, and socially supportive environment for your feline family members by keeping litter boxes clean, ensuring fresh water is available, and sticking to scheduled mealtimes to keep the atmosphere stress-free. I am highly attentive to behaviors that signal a shift in mood, such as tail movement, ear position, vocalizations, eye contact or lack thereof, resting positions and posture. Striving to understand the body language of every cat in my care allows me to anxiety, irritability, boredom, and attention-seeking in the bus while simultaneously gaining the cat’s trust. I volunteer weekly at the Upland PetSmart location on N. Campus Ave in the cat adoption center, which is run by a nonprofit, no- pet rescue organization called H.O.P.E. The cat care duties consist of feeding the cats, cleaning the kennels and litter boxes, and socializing the kittens. I also foster cats and underage kittens (under 8 weeks old) through the NKLA foster program, I fostered kittens while studying at Louisiana State University through a cat shelter in Baton Rouge called Cat Haven, and I am the loving parent of NKLA-adopted purr-machine, Livvy.
