With experience in the veterinary setting, training horses, and raising a menagerie of critters - from backyard chickens to exotics, cats and dogs big and small, my greatest love has been my two deaf cattle dogs - Daisy and Penelope. Born deaf, Penelope changed my relationship and connection to animals forever. After 13 years we have a profoundly deep bond that is built without words. Daisy - also a deaf cattle dog - is a high energy pup who has demanded I find even more new and stimulating activities to meet her high energy and intelligence level. I know my connection to animals and my own expectations and care standards are invaluable to pet owners - whether you're gone for a day, or days on end.
