Hi! My name is Sarah. I love animals of all kinds and have 3 dogs myself. I have: 1. Worked with numerous types of animals, such as (but not limited to); dogs, cats, horses, elephants, rabbits, bunnies, rats and mice. Although I do not have much experience pertaining to reptiles, I am absolutely willing to learn!! I love ALL kinds and breeds of animals. 2. Been to a veterinary camp at The Grace Foundation in El Dorado Hills. I learned the ins and outs of veterinary care - how to take vitals, blood draws, temperature ( in many animals), proper care, how to maintain a healthy diet and I even learned about the reproductive systems of cats and actually got to neuter one (with a vet there if assistance was needed, obviously). 3. I have a deep love and compassion for animals of all kinds. I've always been the person who, if sees an animal on the street in desperate need of care, will pull over to the side of the road (no matter how much of a hurry I am in), and, if they allowed me to, put them in the car and drive to get professional help. Whenever my parents or I find a stray animal, I have always been the person to take care of it and nurse it back to health (if nobody claims them first). This has happened many times, and although I wish they weren't hurt, I was happy to have met them and to have been a caring, friendly presence in their life. During my free time, I like to go to the local animal shelter (Sacramento County) and play with the animals that need some extra attention or are just deprived of love and human interaction. 4. I have gone through 1.5 years of Vet Tech school until I realized I wanted to become a veterinarian. I am currently in school to pursue my dream of becoming one! 5. I worked in a small animal (dogs and cats) veterinary hospital as a Vet Tech where I gained alot of experience in caring for sick animals, as well as knowing how to give them the best care possible.
