My name is Machell Cavazos. I live in the Flour Bluff area of Corpus Christi. I grew up in the country on a small farm that included chickens, ducks, turkey, guinea fowl, a miniature pig and a calf. I've also raised cats, dogs, parakeets, cockatiels, sun conures, an iguana, a chameleon, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, rats, mice, a squirrel and numerous fish in several indoor tanks as well as an outdoor koi pond. I had a unique job on a deer farm as well. I enjoyed a successful career as a nurse for many years, retiring several years ago. I am excited to be starting a program to become a veterinary assistant very soon. Working with animals has always brought me immense joy. If hired, I will treat your fur/feather/scale babies as if they are my very own, a member of my family. In your temporary absence, I will provide competent and compassionate care with attention to exercise, nutritional health and emotional well being.
