I have owned a dog 9 years. She is a black Labrador Retriever and Jack Russell Terrier rescue; I walk and feed her regularly. Sometimes she will stop to sniff around, which can slow down the walk, but I try to be patient with her. I never tug on her leash, or anything like that, because that could hurt her. I try to be as gentle with her as possible. When she sees a cat, I have to hold her leash firmer than I usually do to prevent her from breaking free, but thankfully that hasn't happened in a long time. I offer both dog sitting and dog walking services. I live in Weehawken, but I am willing to travel to Union City, West New York, Hoboken, Guttenberg, Edgewater, and New York City (Manhattan only).
