About Me: Hi everyone! My name is Emma and love any/all animals! I graduated from UVA in 2020, completed a service year with AmeriCorps (its like the domestic peace corps :) ) about a month ago, and will be attending VCU in the Fall to get my Master of Social Work degree! I have cared for animals for years and have cared for my own animals since I was young! I grew up with a dog, guinea pig, cat and MANY hermit crabs. I now have a great pyrenes/lab mix named Camina, who you can see in the second picture. :) Some of my very first jobs have been dog walking, dog and cat sitting, and bird sitting. I also worked at a stable in early college and have cared for 80 horses! During my AmeriCorps year, I got the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at a no animal shelter in Idaho! I'm very experienced, reliable, and comfortable around all animals. I have pet sit overnight and am primarily looking for longer pet sitting needs but will be open to anything! Description of Skills: First, I am very comfortable around animals and love all animals! They are such a gift to us (I'm a member of the 'a group of people who would literally die for the dogs' on FB :) ) I have walked many different breeds of dogs as well as caring for puppies, elderly dogs with incontinence issues, and everything in between. I have also cat sit before and have administered medication to elderly and sick cats. I'm a very reliable pet sitter and am also willing to do housework/cleaning if an overnight stay is required.
